ABOUT ME
Chronically untraditional, deeply sincere.
Hi, I’m Chyna.
I’m a mom of three, a person with a very busy brain, and someone living life a little off the traditional timeline — thanks to chronic illness, ADHD, and a nervous system that tends to have opinions.
This space exists because I’ve always needed somewhere to put the thoughts that don’t fit neatly anywhere else.
My blog and podcast, Not Doing This Normally, are part journal, part reflection, part gentle chaos — a place where I talk out loud about what I’m learning, what I’m struggling with, what’s making me laugh, and what’s making me rethink everything.
Some days that looks like chronic pain and disability life.
Some days it’s parenting, identity, relationships, burnout, or joy.
Some days, it’s just me trying to make sense of being a person in the world.
But mostly, this is a space for honesty.
Not polished. Not perfect. Not optimized.
Just real life, unfolding — in writing, in voice, and hopefully over time, in community.
If you’re also not doing things normally… welcome.
I’m really glad you’re here.
